Toyota RAV4 VS Honda CRV
Right off the bat, if you are looking for the all-around mini SUV, the used Toyota RAV4 for sale is a lot more versatile. It is also very competitive in market which means a used Toyota RAV4 for sale can be a little difficult to find because it gets snapped up almost immediately.

From the exterior, the RAV4 looks a bit smaller than the Honda CRV. This is deceptive because you can pull down or recline the seats creating more space or leg room as needed. Aside from this features, the RAV4 has become more sellable than the CRV for the following reasons:
- Compact and so very easy to drive and control
- Proven as it is now on the 3rd generation
- Excellent fuel efficiency even with the V6 engine or the 4 cylinder
- Outstanding performance on most surfaces
- Accessories are cruise control and good use of power windows and locks plus the enhanced safety features on the body
- Has a low base floor which makes it easy to load bulky objects
- Price is affordable
With the Honda CRV, the most common complaint being heard is that it the newer models are not as good as expected. It is less sturdy and the Honda quality appears to be floundering a bit with the CRV. Most definitely, it’s a good city car but it cannot handle rough roads very well unless you modify it. Its fuel economy is not as good as the RAV4 unless you modify. In short, if you want the CRV to be better, you will have to spend on modifications.
From another angle, the CRV is more known to a modern mini “mom mobile,” unlike the RAV4 which can look good as a “mom mobile,” executive, or college kid. It’s even been seen as something very useful for a small to medium-sized business.
